Why Are My Water Pipes Making A Racket?

If your pipes are making a racket, there is a simple way to quiet them down. Anchoring exposed pipes will decrease the amount of noise your plumbing system makes.

Pipes that are contained within the floors, walls and ceilings may need to be attended by a professional plumber.

If the pipe is banging loudly when you shut it off, you may need to replenish all the air chambers with air.

You need to do this by shutting off your main water valve and then turning on the faucet that is at the highest point in your home. Then find the lowest faucet and turn it on. As the water drains out, air will replace it.

If you are experiencing noisy water pipes, call us today and our team of plumbing technicians will be there to check it out.
